I must say, this is much better than most of the shows currently available on standard cable (read syfy, the masters of lack of imagination).
Well done.
Thanks guys! Glad you’re enjoying it.
Truely epic! lol See comment on episode six lol
Goblins sent me here, and I’m glad it did.
I don’t know why there isn’t more stuff like this floating around, but maybe I just don’t know where to find it.
Thank you for giving of your time and selves to provide me with a free laugh. I hope the right people see this and it can take you to great places.
Snuffles Rocks!! Edda rocks! Well done, gang!
DCS – I loved watching your comments throughout the day as you watched the whole thirteen episodes!
Good stuff! The suspense is killing me…
The characterization is just fantastic, and the acting is far better than what I’m used to in web series. Really, really well done. You guys rock.
Hey, thanks Tristan! So glad you’re liking the show – we’re pretty proud of ourselves, so it’s always nice to hear that people are having fun watching what we do.
I’m not sure how I came across this, but I’m very glad I did. It took a few episodes for me to get drawn into this but once the actors became comfortable with their roles (or I became familiar with them) I was hooked. The villain is fantastic, the heroes have grown without me realizing it, and there have been some great moments which made me hit pause.
I admit I skip past the ukelele bits though. <.<;
Amazing series, awesome acting, are you guys thinking about going pro? The stagnating industry could sure use some fresh blood & brains.
Just a few nit picks tho (sorry can’t help myself, being a larper/D&Der):
1. Costumes: some were amazing (Lady Warlock, Bridgekeeper, Orc faces), but most are really underwhelming. Armor is particularly lacking: e.g. the Cleric is referred to as wearing “heavy armor”, while all he really has is grey gauze. While cool for a pure parody, at some point your show became a little too serious for these outfits. Much better stuff can be had at very little expense. But instead of trying to copy the silly unwearable designs from the “sourcebooks”, just go with historical replicas: then you’ll get armor that doesn’t look funny|silly, is easy to wear, and actually gives protection (if you ever decide to land some blows with those swords).
2. Magic. Not enough of it. This is (in theory at least) “sword and sorcery”, so why not make it show? No need for expensive FX, there are plenty of spells that can be simulated by very simple visuals and sounds. And don’t forget cantrips, even first level spellcasters get plenty of these. There’s really a boatload of things even low-level magic can do in D&D, so no need to limit it to only a few basic spells. Proactive magic use can help keep a fast pace and provide for more engaging, inventive encounters. And of course, don’t limit the magic to protagonists only. There’s little better in terms of spicing up the adventure than a brush with an evil wizard.
Other than that, keep up the good work, and hope to see more eps soon!
Got introduced to this series by THunt at goblinscomics. You guys do amazing stuff with so little. It’s been really inspiring to my daughter, who’s interested in film making. Thanks!
Wow, you guys rock!
just one question… not sure if it was me being absent minded, but what is snuffles??
Wow, really delightful series. I can’t wait to see more. I’m very impressed all around, from the acting (and casting), costuming, and filming through to the writing and story itself.
You seem to effortlessly balance the whimsical humor with genuinely endearing characters who are easy to emotionally invest in and whose story we want to follow further.
I hope there are a lot of adventures ahead.
(Snuffles is a badger… not sure if honey-badger variety. Probably Dire Badger.)
Love the story, and can’t wait for the next one. Just one question… what happened to Astrid? She’s absolutely gorgeous… plus she’s a ranger, my favorite class ever.
Thank you so much, everyone! We’re glad you’re enjoying the series, and Matt, to be an inspiration – wow, that’s pretty awesome. I hope your daughter gets out there and makes great things!
Yes, Snuffles is a badger.
What happened to Astrid? Wait for Episode 13!
John and Jim – thank you very much for your kind words! I’m in love with all of these characters now, so I’m happy to hear you like them too. I don’t want to let any of them go, so here’s hoping for a second season!
Neutralevilguy! Thanks for the comments! What you’re touching on is the restrictions of budget, unfortunately, but we hope to go bigger and better on all those angles as we move forward into second season. I would love to see beefier armor and more magic – first season was pretty solidly based on character, but I’m excited to try new stuff in season 2. I appreciate you taking the time to make suggestions!
Thanks for watching, everyone.

First time I have sat down and watch all the episodes together. Love this show I found you through ZOE, you really fit in with them. Hope you guys get your second season up and running.
Edda made a classic mistake by giving a headbutt against the resurrected hobgoblin:
Hitting one’s forehead against another damages the attacker and the defender. It’s more effective to hit the defenders face/nose as these are quite weak, and a hit there can be very painful and desoreintating.
