I remember doing a “desert island survival” type task with a class once (you know, where you have to rank a list of items to take with you). One Hindu girl said that she ranked the “book of edible animals” last, as she was vegetarian. The rest of her group’s reaction was, “Great – you’ll be the first one we kill when we reach the cannabilistic phase!”
