The newly-formed adventuring party finds a clue that leads them stumbling through the woods after Wendy and Fernando’s misplaced Ranger and Cleric. Unfortunately, the are reminded that adventuring isn’t nearly as glamorous as the papers would have you believe.
Awesome! I’m so glad you picked up on this stuff. Honestly I think Episode 5 has some of the best dialogue of the season, but it seems to get a bit lost in the bigger, grander stuff that comes later on. I love the character definition that came out in this episode.
The animated landscape in the intro has a lovingly depicted moon. I thought that was worthy of mention since the “Don’t eat that” moment was already covered.
This is my fave episode of season 1 I think. Just for the lines and the stuff Edda does/says.
“I didn’t want you to start sneezing again.”
“Why are they red?” “They’re from the mountains.” *everyone accepts that as logical*
“Edda! Don’t eat that!” *Edda sadface* (fave moment of the season!)
*Edda struggles with a potion bottle for a full minute*
“Nobody really enjoys a bardic performance unless they’re a little drunk.”
